About Dr. Anthony Shaia and Dr. Crystel Shaia
Anthony Shaia, DDS
General Dentist
Dr. Anthony Shaia graduated from The Ohio State University Dental School in 2000. He completed a General Practice Residency at Miami Valley Hospital, and he has received advanced training in implant dentistry, laser dentistry, and IV conscious sedation. Prior to attending dental school, Dr. Shaia attended St. Ignatius High School and John Carroll University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in biology. While he has been practicing dentistry for over 20 years, he remains committed to regularly furthering his education in the dental field. Dr. Shaia is dedicated to providing our patients with the highest quality of dentistry and he works hard to make their experience as comfortable and painless as possible. He has a true passion for dentistry that motivates him to continually strive for better, newer techniques.
Dr. Shaia is married, and his wife, also a dentist, is part of the Shaia Dental Care team. They have a son and a daughter, and he is a dedicated father who actively supports their sports and hobbies. He enjoys coaching and teaching new skills, keeping the family busy with fun and meaningful activities. Dr Shaia's hobbies include golfing, fantasy football, skiing, and spending time with his family.
Crystel Shaia, DDS
General Dentist
Dr. Crystel is Dr. Shaia's wife and a proud member of the Shaia Dental Care team. She graduated as Valedictorian of her dental school class in 2009 and went on to complete her residency at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio. She has a special passion for endodontics and is known for her gentle touch and attention to detail. She has a natural way with children, and young patients love seeing her, as she makes every visit comfortable and positive.
When she's not caring for patients, Dr. Crystel enjoys skiing, swimming, and traveling. She also treasures time spent with her family, especially cheering on her children in their many activities and adventures.
